As a Doctor of Social Work and a licensed clinical social worker, the majority of her service to Delta has been focused on physical and mental health, having served as a member of the Physical and Mental Health Committee in the San Diego Alumnae Chapter and Chair of the Physical and Mental Health Committee for the North San Diego County Alumnae Chapter. She is the immediate past president of the North San Diego County Alumnae Chapter, and is one of its charter members. Leaving that chapter was not an easy decision to make, but she could not ignore the needs of her own community! She is invested in children and bringing the people of her community together for the good of all! She looks forward to serving Murrieta, Temecula and the surrounding areas.

As a local Educator, servicing her community, Soror Taylor works diligently to promote opportunities for ALL to excel in education. She is an Independent Educational Consultant for the Taylormade Agency, LLC. The majority of her service to Delta has been focused on Scholarships and Fund Development. Soror Taylor has served as a member of the May Week, Scholarship, Membership Services, and Fund Development Committees where she has held leadership positions as Chair and Co-Chair of each of these committees. It is her pleasure to serve the Murrieta-Temecula Area Alumnae Chapter as First Vice President in hopes to continue making an Impact in the community.

Soror Tania McLean-Nicholas was initiated in Spring of 2014 through the San Bernardino Riverside Area Alumnae Chapter. She faithfully served on the Physical and Mental Health and E.M.B.O.D.I. Committees. As a licensed marriage family therapist, she is passionate about mental health and dispelling the mental health stigma in the African American community. She is the owner of Renewed Hope Counseling and has facilitated a dozen workshops on "The Art of Healing", "Social Emotional Learning", Understanding Depression", "Drug Awareness and Prevention", "Grief and Loss", and a host of others. She has experience working with foster youth and special education. She is also a psychology adjunct professor. She makes sure to follow her passion and commitment to living a healthy lifestyle, demonstrated by her plant-based diet and love for social dancing. Tania specifically has a love for latin music and salsa dancing.

Jaki Andrews was initiated into the San Bernardino Riverside Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated in the Spring of 2018. With a passion for uplifting and advancing the status of the African-American community, she has served in the roles of chair and co-chair of the Social Action committee, and is currently the corresponding secretary for the Murrieta-Temecula Area Alumnae Chapter. Jaki is an experienced criminal defense lawyer, representing citizens charged with felonies and misdemeanors in the Inland Empire for the past 17 years. She is a member of the Richard T. Fields Bar Association and the Lake Elsinore Chapter of the NAACP.

There, she served as member of the Technology committee, co-chair of Arts and Letters, member of Nominating committee, and on the step or stroll teams. Nailah currently serves on the Advisory Council for Xi Lambda Chapter, and is honored to be a Charter Member for MTAAC. Professionally, Nailah is an elementary teacher in the Menifee Union School District and serves on the e-board for the school district’s African American Parent Advisory Council. Nailah is an active member in her church, an avid movie goer and foodie, a Zumba instructor, and a fan of spending quality time with her family and friends whether indoors or out.

Soror Toya Mack-Burton, MBA, was initiated in the Fall of 1984 into the Xi Xi Chapter (city-wide chapter, Pomona, CA). She was a longtime member of the Inglewood Alumnae Chapter, where she served as Assistant Financial Secretary, GEMS Co-Chair, and as an active member of the Social Action Committee. She is passionate about uplifting African American male teens and has launched and chaired the E.M.B.O.D.I. program in both the Inglewood Alumnae Chapter and the Murrieta-Temecula Area Alumnae Chapter. Soror Mack-Burton is a proud graduate of the 2nd Cohort of the Delta PEARL Program for the Farwest Region. She currently serves as the Treasurer for MTAAC and is a member of the Farwest Program Planning and Development Committee. She is a business owner and an avid traveler who has attended International Sisterhood retreats hosted in all 3 of the Farwest International Chapters.

Soror Varner worked in the field of education for over 30 years. Although she is retired, she stays connected to the children by volunteering with the PTA at her previous school. Soror Varner not only is the Financial Secretary, but works with the Scholarship, Membership Services, ERT, and DEARS committees. She is married, has 3 children, and is a grandmother of 7. Soror Varner enjoys working with the chapter members making an impact in the MTAAC community.
